LI Qing-hua serves as President of both the China Chapter of the International Association of Hydrogeologists and the Commission on Hydrogeology at the Geological Society of China. He is Director and Senior Researcher at the Institute of Hydrogeology and Environmental Geology, CAGS, while also directing the Key Laboratory of Groundwater Science and Engineering under the Ministry of Natural Resources. His principal research focuses on hydrogeology and environmental geology, for which he has been recognized as an Outstanding Young Scientific and Technological Talent by the Ministry of Natural Resources.
